Over 80 participants attended the JISC Course Data Programme Stage 1 start up meeting on Friday 16 September.

Ruth Drysdale introduced Stage 1 of the programme, during which institutions will be developing their XCRI-CAP implementation plans for execution in Stage 2. She mentioned that the main Course Data programme information will be at: http://www.jisc.ac.uk/whatwedo/programmes/elearning/coursedata.aspx and the main channel for communication will be via a JISCMAIL group ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Key dates in relation to Stage 2 are:

  • Implementation plans submitted - Mon 21 November
  • Selection panel – 13 December
  • Notify successful projects – w/c 19 December
  • Projects start – early-mid January 2012

Ruth also said that "we will send a short survey in order to collate key information about each project and the tools they currently use for managing course data."
