12 September 2011: XCRI Self-assessment Framework updated
The XCRI Self-assessment Framework has been updated to take account of the needs of universities and colleges participating in Stage 1 of the JISC-funded Course Data Programme. For further information see the XCRI SAF introduction page.
XCRI SAF Support said in a recent email to all users:
"The changes are as follows:
- We are changing the wording of some of the questions, so that they are clearer (these are questions A1, A2, B1 to B6, C3, C4, C9, C12, C13, D4, D7, D8, D9). These are not substantive changes, so should not alter the meaning of your answers.
- We are making a substantive change to question A3, to make the relationship between the question, the possible answers and the Red, Amber, Green indicator clearer.
- In addition to the contextual help links in the Summary section, we are adding contextual help icons to the questions. These link to relevant information in the XCRI Knowledge Base and can be accessed by clicking on the (i) at the end of the question,
- We are adding a new ‘comments’ box against each question, so that the user can enter notes against it. The notes can be edited from each question page and viewed in the Summary page."
