The XCRI community blog: all about eXchanging Course Related Information (XCRI) and its Course Advertising Profile (XCRI-CAP).
Over the last few days Kirstie and I have been synthesizing the recommendations from the XCRI-CAP Self-assessment Framework Field Testing projects. We have amassed over 40 recommendations, ranging from the strategic ('work with CMS vendors to make their products XCRI-CAP compliant') to the highly detailed ('Check the RAG status for question A3').
Many thanks to colleagues at the University of Bradford, University of Greenwich, University of Lincoln, Middlesex University, Staffordshire University and the University of Wales Institute Cardiff for their feedback reports.
Once the synthesis work has been completed, we'll be making changes to the Self-assessment Framework and the XCRI Knowledge Base, so that we're ready to support the start of the new JISC Programme, Course Data: Making the Most of Course Information.
