Description:
This project tested the state of readiness of The University of Huddersfield’s databases and record systems for eXchanging Course Related Information – Course Advertising Profile (XCRI-CAP) implementation. Following the initial evaluation, the project planned to progress through an implementation plan with the overall aspiration to transform and map internal data to XCRi-CAP using processes that will enable the data to be supplied regularly to internal and external customers.
This project supports the University’s strategic plan that explicitly focuses on new approaches to teaching and learning that create individualised pathways, step-on and step-off routes and a complex range of opportunities that link student’s skill development and personalised planning. The potential use of eXchanging Course Related Information (XCRI) will expedite some of these developments and provide rich course information for a wider community regionally and nationally.
