PG Cert in Educational Technologies

Middlesex University has developed a series of short courses which are linked towards a PG Cert in Educational Technologies.

There are 4 short courses:

  1. XCRI (see below) (core / 15-credits) - providing detailed coverage of XCRI and XCRI-CAP (everything you wish to know about XCRI)
  2. Train the trainers (optional / 15-credits) - covering training issues from strategic planning to delivery (get the skills for disseminating XCRI and other technologies to the rest of your team and roll out to the entire University)
  3. Assessing the assessors (optional / 15-credits) - supporting the assessment practices required for project deployment (get the skills for assessing the development of XCRI materials and project outputs across Schools and departments)
  4. Technology Enhanced Curriculum Development (core / 15-credits) - focusing on the implementation of XCRI projects (everything you wish to know about implementing large scale XCRI initiatives)

Each one of these is delivered in one day face to face mode, then supported online and assessed via a portfolio. Obviously courses 1 and 4 correspond to stages 1 and 2 of the JISC call.
